Jessica L. Brown, Esq. is a business and intellectual property attorney with over seven years of experience supporting entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and growing companies across a wide range of industries. Her practice focuses on trademark and copyright law, business and nonprofit law, contract review, and outside general counsel services. Jessica is passionate about providing clear, strategic legal advice that empowers mission-driven organizations to grow with confidence, and she approaches every client relationship as a collaborative partner—striving to be a trusted and integrated member of the team.

Jessica has a strong foundation in public service and government work, having completed the prestigious Honors Legal Internship with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in both the Office of General Counsel (Clarksburg, WV) and the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity (Washington, DC). She also interned with the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office (Office of Integrity) and the West Virginia University Office of General Counsel.

Jessica’s litigation and transactional experience complement each other, allowing her to support clients from all angles. Early in her career, she second chaired a bench trial that set precedent in the Pennsylvania Superior Court on how to calculate damages in a construction defect case. Most recently, she has assisted in several federal cases involving trademark and copyright infringement. She is especially passionate about helping small and growing businesses build strong legal foundations, including protecting her client’s work and brands. Recent work includes supporting a med spa through formation, compliance, and expansion, and representing a well-known influencer through a business separation, new company formation, and trademark prosecution.
